1. Are the rates you sent me inclusive or exclusive of leave pay?
The pay rates we have published on our website are exclusive of Working Time Directive. The only instance where you would not receive the Working Time directive is if you are working as a Limited Company Contractor, as Limited Companies are not entitled to this.

2. What percentage of my pay rate do you take as your commission?
The pay rates we have published on our website are your gross pay rate. We do not claim a percentage of your pay from you. The NHS pays our commission directly to us above and beyond your pay rate.

3. How much can I expect to earn?
Ambition 24AHP works with totally transparency, our pay rates unlike other agencies are displayed at all times on our website.

4. How frequently will I be paid?
We operate weekly payrolls, if you work on a Sunday and your timesheet is with us on the Monday you will be paid that Friday.

5. Why so much compliance?
The UK healthcare industry has moved towards requiring much higher levels of compliance and background checks on all healthcare professionals, these measures should be seen as positive as they raise the standard of the industry and protect the most vulnerable.

6. Why do I need to do a CRB via Ambition, I have done 5 already in the last 6 months through other companies and agencies?
It is a requirement that you hold a CRB that is less than 12 months old for each agency or organization that you undertake work for. The Criminal Records Bureau now holds information on people other than conviction/caution information, such as information contained in POVA/POCA lists or recommendations from local police forces. This information comes directly to the Registered Body that has undertaken the check.

7. Do I need Professional indemnity?
If you work within the NHS no. If you intend to work outside the NHS in private practice or for private organizations this is required in all cases.

8. Why do I need an Occupational Health Assessment?
This is an NHS requirement and soon to be an industry standard across the board. It ensures that all practitioners are fit to work.
